Nmap SMB OS Discovery
In this tutorial, we will see how to perform a nmap scan that will determine the OS of the target.
The nmap command--script smb-os-discovery runs the "smb-os-discovery" script against the target. We can see that nmap has detected that the target is running Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
This shows all the available scripts that is related to the SMB protocol.
